SPATIAL STATISTICS

The journal Spatial Statistics will publish a Special Issue coming form selected papers of the Second Galician-Portuguese Meeting of Biometry (BIOAPP2016) and the 8th International Workshop on Spatial-Temporal Modeling (METMA VIII). This number will be called “Spatio-temporal statistical methods in environmental and biometrical problems”. All submissions will be subject to standard review process of the journal.

BIOMETRICAL JOURNAL

The Biometrical Journal will publish a special issue entitled “Joint Modelling and Beyond” which includes new contributions and recent advances in the joint modeling techniques, in particular for the simultaneous analysis of longitudinal and survival data in all areas of life sciences and other areas.
This special issue is devoted mainly to contributed papers of the II Galician-Portuguese Meeting of Biometry (BIOAPP2016) and the Workshop Joint Modelling and Beyond 2016 (JOINTMODELING2016).
The papers must be motivated by a relevant biostatistics application or contain at least one application to illustrate new biostatistics methods. Reproducible research is needed and the authors have to send the code of the programs and (if possible) the data sets used to illustrate the proposed models or to indicate the link where the data are available.
All submissions will be subject to standard review process of the journal. The deadline for submission of entries is August 31 November 30, 2016.
